  1. Will my eSIM carry over, and is there a chance that i could loose it?

  2. How easy is it to spoof being unrooted?

  3. how stable is it?

  4. is there custom ROM detection?

  5. can i flash back to stock and re-lock?

  6. what are the bennefits?

  7. what are the drawbacks?

  8. when unlocking bootloader, will eSIM be saved?

  9. How easy is it to spoof SafteyNet/Play Integrity?

  10. What are the risks of bricking/doing it wrong?

  11. DO THESE APPS WORK?
    1 - Life360
    2 - Greenlight
    3 - Galaxy Wearable

(also title is incorrect. i am not going to flash a rom most likely.)

  1. do i have to be careful about updating?

ALSO - is there something like the GrapheneOS installer for other ROMS?

ALSO - What's up with the May 2025 update bricking devices?

Crdroid is almost the same as Pixel os

#

Just no special google stuff

#

And benefits are many new customisation options and drawbacks are bugs

That's all i can say

# finite knoll 1. Will my eSIM carry over, and is there a chance that i could loose it? 2. How ...

i know this is from a while ago, but i personally rooted my phone and heres how it goes:

  1. yes, your esim should carry over i believe
i've reflashed android a lot of times on my pixel and my esim remained there
  2. its relatively easy to spoof being unrooted with the right modules (such as integritywizard)
  3. its relatively stable, its never broken down on me once by using reliable modules
    N/A, never flashed custom rom
  4. N/A
  5. the benefits is that well.. obviously, you get more access to things on your phone, you can mount revanced onto the youtube/music system app so that its not an external app for example
  6. the drawbacks is that rooting delays your phone startup by about 3-5 secs, but its not that bad sometimes
  7. not sure, i got my eSIM after rooting
  8. integritywizard
  9. risks of doing it wrong should be low, because all you need to do is patch a file, transfer it to your computer, and then flash it with platform tools from google themselves. however, should you mess up, like i did sometimes, ive nveer bricked and hopefully never will, but you'd mess up the software and have to reflash everything, ultimately your data will poof if you didnt back it up
but i believe your eSIM wont go away
  10. opens up with no problems
11 (2). not sure what greenlight youre talking aobut, if youre talking about greenlight vietnam yes, it opens fine for me
11 (3). opens without complaints either
  11. yes, your root will be erased if you update, so usually when i update i dont do OTA, but i use flash.android.com because i can also download the system files from there and re-flash magisk

if yoiu need anything else, lmk!

im not sure of how to flash custom rom yet, because theres no TWRP or any sort of custom recovery for pixel 9 series and i haven't seen any for p8 series either..
