Google Pixel 8, Android 15 (AP3A.241005.015)

Good morning, I woke up today to my phone spamming "Google has stopped working" or "Google keeps stopping" (screenshot attached) with a prompt for App Info and Close App. It returns on an inconsistent interval, sometimes arising every few minutes, sometimes every few seconds. I additionally get a notice that Google Play Services are unsupported on my device when opening some Google apps, such as Keep (screenshot attached), and Discover to the right of my home screen doesn't work (it just boots me back to my home screen)

This occurs on both Profiles I have set up on the phone and behaves the same way.

Even now I am experiencing the issue. I have tried force-closing Google and clearing its cache, restarting the device, and switching device profiles

The device is still under 1 year old, so I believe it should still be under factory warranty, however I would really hate to have to setup a whole new phone again. Additionally, Android devices already have a sour reputation with my significant other and a warranty claim would just further that belief.

have you rooted?
did you disable any system apps?
have you updated to A15?

If I go into settings and click my profile picture in the top right corner (which shows up blank as you can see), I get a notice that "something went wrong"

I'm on Android 15 right now

Still here

It boots fine, with Material theming during boot and in both pin prompts, but once I was in Android I got 2 of this stacked on top of one another

Like I was trying to find "logging" earlier so I would type "log" and the app would turn black (navigation layer still shows up) and then kick me out of the search

I noticed that you don't have any wifi or cellular icons. Revert all modifications since that is probably what is causing this issue

The closest things to a "modification" I have are Island for work apps and Micro G for ReVanced (I have YouTube Premium so I'm not using adblock)

Strangely, stock YouTube (utilizing Play Services) does not run but MicroG YouTube works fine

MicroG is a provider for Google Play Services for devices that do have have them.

Yes, I'm aware what Micro G does, but I think it may be indictive of an issue with the stock Play Services installed on the device

Sync is on for everything, clearing Play Services cache did nothing, I'll try clearing app data now too

Play Services does not let me clear app data like a normal application would, but rather pulls up this menu. It seems that the data that would otherwise be cleared by such an action is considered critical and can't be cleared

Discord notification formatting is not being processed correctly, but I am uncertain if this is a Google issue (do on-system notifications run through firebase?) or if this is a Discord-specific issue

Disable Play Services and go to APKMirror, download the Play Services APK for arm64 and reinstall Play Services

That was not as smooth as I wanted it to be, and the issue still persists

But I had an idea, what if I join the Play Services Beta and get a beta release? Maybe it's an issue with the release I have currently installed that may be coded in the beta

Appears to be working now, so a STABLE release of Play Services was causing my issues, likely the November 3 patch that I was seeing as an available mirror from APKPure
