Hello everyone,
So I installed android 15 on my phone with the beta program and I wanted to roll back to no beta, so I decided to opt out and just wait until I get the regular update of android 15.
In the updater app it gave me an update of wiping your phone of course, but I didn't want to install it since I decided to wait.
Unfortunate, I clicked the update button, don't ask me how but I did it (yes I know I'm stupid)
I immediately just shut off the WiFi of my phone so it couldn't download and tried a reboot, but every time I go back to the updater app, it has a button that says: resume
So the question is: how do I cancel this update so my phone will not get wiped?

What model of Pixel? Pixel 8
What OS are you running? Android 15
What carrier do you have (cellular service)? If this means internet provider KPN (it's Dutch) if not, please tell me
Is your device rooted? No

as long as you have nothing important locally stored shouldnt take you more than 30 min to get up and running

#

most time is gonna be spent waiting for the updates tho lol

did you do the volume button way to get into recovery, then just hit "restart device" (or whatever it says)?

isn't adb reboot the same as just... rebooting the phone?

#

if thats the case then ig you can fix it by just rebooting lol
