I have a non-rooted Pixel 8 Pro running Android 14.

Wondering if anyone else has intermittent Android Auto disconnect issues. When it happens, it will disconnect for several seconds, then reconnect. It's minor, but really annoying. Using a USB connection will fix the issues.

I think it's my phone and not my car because my wife's Samsung Galaxy Fold does not have this issue when connected to my car wirelessly. We've gone on really long trips without issues with her phone (whereas mine will disconnect at least every 15 minutes or so).

Unfortunately it's a known issue and there's no fix (aside from using cable)

Dang is it just a pixel thing or does it affect all Android phones?
