heavy UI lags

Hello, around 2 weeks ago I had massive UI lags on my P8P, for example it taking 2-3 seconds to turn on from standby, or the control center taking some time to appear when pulling from the top. I deleted some apps and restarted it, then it was working fine again, until now. Is this a known issue?? TIA

Looks like you have a virus on your Pixel

Factory Reset your Pixel and Reset all passwords on another device

how can that be? literally downloaded nothing shady or clicked links, also rn it works fine again

Lag is only caused by Trojans or viruses

Or badly optimized apps but in this case it looks like it's systemwide

could it be caused by often using many gps based apps like navigation and google tracking thing?

no "google tracking" thing shouldn't do that
If you have mod apks of GPS apps or have shady GPS apps that may be the problem

its weird bc it was just lagging again and then crashed... but it cant be a virus, almost 100% certain

now it works perfectly fine after restarting the UI

Just reset the device once to factory settings and the problem should be eliminated

Not everything is caused by that. I don't have any virus whatsoever and my phone did that too. Uninstalled an open source app and it solved it lol
