i did notice you can change the position of your virtual sticks in the beta, maybe i could flip them upside down and hold the controllers the same way 1_M_ThinkingSmartButCrinkling

okay after play testing a bit more, holding your meta quest 3 controllers normally is like 99.9% accurate whereas holding them upside down is like 95% accurate... that 5% difference is enough to say its not worth it in the long run

regarding using hand tracking for sticks - we tried a version of this where you could hit the drums with your hands, but it's way too slow for any sort of percussion instrument where your hands can move back and forth quite fast. ultimately we decided not to add that in because I've seen a lot of instances where users will think it's the app's fault the hand tracking isn't good enough, rather than an issue with the vr platform itself. also the lagginess made it not fun at all ๐Ÿ˜„
