#Minor feature tweaks

The QOL thread seems to be working well so I suggest one for minor tweaks to in game features that you feel don't feel quite right/could be cooler or even better. This will push into taste territory and obviously is not game breaking issues so would be low prority and frequently rejected. (You may even want to reject this whole idea)

Here are a few

Swap the Ballistic and Pure damage of the BurnerMouth in ful auto so the ratio is the same as in burst. Its just odd that it changes.

SMGs are really machine pistols & Urban assautls SMGs. As Urban Assault is way cooler rename SMGs to Machine Pistol.

Revolvers are Hand Cannons and should be named as such. It makes them less like real world C21 revolvers and magically covers why they have massive pure damage.

More balance and tweaking then? I want to do a huge thread on that but I'm holding off until further down the line myself.

I'd say this is pre balance, more aesthetics.
It's too early for accurate balance stuff. Some things are obviously off like the level 2 Stun bat that has 1% more accuracy than the level 1 one - that's the only difference. Even there I have no idea which is in the right place, especially as I have no idea what accuracy means for melee weapons 🙂

@royal obsidian next update includes glancing hit rules for melee weapons. accuracy roll gets you a full hit but with melee you're always guaranteed a glancing hit.

#

glancing hit do significantly less damage

#

however, the higher your accuracy %, the reduction is lower and lower

#

so getting a glancing hit with 50% accuracy is going to cause less damage than 75% accuracy

#

but you're still going to get a glancing hit gauaranteed

  • SMGs are really machine pistols
I do want to echo this tho.

I'd like there to be a row of brown tones in the color menu

What I've found most persistently confusing on the hacking screen is where to find the matrix action point. I think they should be visible on the top left corner, where a lot of your hacker's other stats are

Or lower left

When you go from a character's loadout to the "swap weapon" button and from there to the shop, it would be nice if "compare item" in the shop screen would then compare with the equipped weapon. or if there was a "compare with equipped" button

I always enjoy the summary screens that tell me how many missions my guys have been on how many kills (loots?) they have how many times they have been hit etc.
I would not advocate tracking this if it's not already there but if it is I would lve to be able to see it.

already tracked, yes
