I don't know if i'm doing something wrong, but just tried Tales of Seahawk on the newst version and i can't progress right at the start.
Selected the default "Merchant" background for the char and when Malcolm tells you to loot the ship chest, there's a license you can't transfer. And Malcolm keeps telling you that you forgot to loot something and cannot go on...

could you please provide a savegame?
I couldn't save, it was grayed out
It's right at the start of a new game when you select the first dialog option
ok
It's tutorial deck?
Yes 🙂
I will check it out, last time I checked the fight was the only broken thing
But I fixed that
Worked OK in Version 57 - haven't tried 58 yet. - Treied V58 - works fine on my setup.
It happens to me on v58
I'm on V58 and I don't have the bug you mentioned
can you explain how to recreate it?
Just so you know - you need to take the items from the chest on Malcolm's left Near the bed and put the 12 cutlasses only into the weapons locker at the end of the table. you will need to equip the pistol and saber so that you can do the tutorial. The merchant licence should not be removable from your inventory as it is a quest item (separate folder) in your inventry (select by hitting F2, Inventry, Quest-item tabs). Hope this helps.
Oh dear i feel so dumb now. I was thinking that your inventory was on the BOTTOM of the loot screen 🤣 Sorry!
Wasn't it on the bottom in original New Horizons?
No worries. I like to select the "gunner " option as you get a horse pistol which helps early in the game when your sword play skills are very low and select the Jack-ass Barque for the ship as it has a gun deck with 4 chest to loot which helps in getting medical items for free early in the game.
You can delete this pointless thread now
For some reason i was confused on the order of the rows
Enjoy the game - it can be a little frustrating early on until you get your skill level up - but well worth it in my opinion.
