Honestly though, a set of cryptid followers forms could be fun: Jackalope, Mothman, Flatwoods Alien, Maybe a Nessy/Champ. Would love a Fresno Nightcrawler, but I'm not sure how that would work with clothes and the animations.

Yeah, I would absolutely pay for a "Creatures of the Lost" dlc or something that just adds a bunch of cryptid related stuff. I bet you could fit several of them into the lore as former gods...

I think this is a great idea for a future follower pack. However, I would like to suggest one caveat: Please, for the love of whatever deity/deities anyone believes in & out of respect for indigenous cultures, just don't add or even name the actual name of the w*nny-dingdongs.
Jackalopes would be awesome though, and I'd love to see Skvaders & Wolpertingers as well.

Not-dear are also their own thing. They can take a lot of different forms from just deer that are weirdly walking upright on two legs, to deer with skeletal heads, or fangs and multiple eyes. Just something that you look at, and it's a deer, but then you look closer, and it's ... Definitely not
