i have the game on steamdeck and it was a gift.
the bug appeared around may and i played with sound up until i defeated all the bishops the next day it stopped having sound. i posted onto steam about the issue and got no response. i have no tech abilities and havent had the console for long. the game aswell as the deck are fully updated i checked before posting. i checked if i turned off sound on the deck i didnt and checked in game too i dont know what i should do.

have you checked the settings in-game? is the sound turned up there

okay ive tried the many things said. imma be honest maybe im just not smart because i cannot for the life of me figure this out
i put it in big picture mode i took it ou i open the game with and without big picture and i still have no audio 🤦🏼♀️ i think i just dont understand and im most likely doing something wrong but idk what
