So I play on PS4, and while I was doing my route in Silk Cradle, the game would suddenly close during some combat and the following error would appear on the screen: CE-38700-8. And I already tried everything I could, restart the game, download it again and my internet isn't the issue. I'm able to play in the darkwoods or anchordeep normally tho, this error only appears during silk cradle.

Many other PS4 players have experienced this, and fortunately the devs are actively testing and working to fix it with a bit of other bugs in one big patch
Here’s a temp fix that might help you until the patch drops
This + the basic fleece + taking it slow + no tarot cards or extra hearts/damage bonuses has worked for me
