Mostly today I was thinking about how much real history stuff I should put into the AU. Like how closely to adhere to Roman customs, principles, history, etc.

so what I was thinking that uh, parents dead first of all

anyway disease and a war killed them but because one of his parent's was in the army he got paid with land, or his kid did at least

so Tiberius gets a nice plot of land on the Empire's borders to just, do farm stuff

but the thing with living on the borders is that security is hard to guarantee

who knows what barbarians may be lurking in the shadows of the civilized world, envious of the achievments of the empire

I'm really liking the idea of Ratau being a mentor figure for him so sorry for saying you were wrong about that Qyuobii 😭
