#LOTS and LOTS of traits!

I have been thinking about more traits to add to spice the gameplay up a bit, here is a few of them:
TRAITS EXCLUSIVE FOR BABIES (these traits are fully random and cannot be selected in the trai selection screen):
-Attention seeker:
The baby will constantly seek your attention, the baby cannot be left alone for too long, if the baby is left alone for longer than half a minute (If I remember right, days in COTL only last 8 minutes) the baby will start to feel neglected, you won't lose faith from this, but it can lead to a faith loss on the morning of the next day, if the baby is left alone for longer than a minute, it will start crying and annoying adult followers, and if the baby is left alone for longer than 3 minutes, it will start throwing a tantrum, breaking and attacking anything around it for attention, this means it can annoy adult followers even more, cause injuries to other babies, and break objects, the baby with this trait may get hurt depending on the material the object is made of. (I only thougth about the baby version of this trait, but I am working on the adult version!)
-Fast learner:
The baby that has this trait will learn how to walk a day before it normally should, at 4 days old, the baby with this trait is already going to be able to make short conversations with adult followers.
-Social:
The baby with this trait is always going to be found around other babies, but on the other end...
-Antisocial:
The baby will try to distance itself from other babies as much as possible, if the baby with this trait is around other babies for too long, the baby might get the coward trait and start crying.

BOTH ADULTS AND BABIES:
-Bully (this trait is only obitainable by an one other way if the trait is not in the random trait pool of the follower):
This trait is technically a worse version of the "Jerk" trait. The follower with the bully trait will beat up others for fun, take their money, and even sometimes destroy it's target's shelter (i cannot finish this)

(BULLY TRAIT PT. 2) This trait can also affect babies who will beat up other babies and sometimes (like a 1%-5% chance of happening) break eggs or not allow the player to pick up the egg, forcing it to rot

even MORE TRAITS:

-musician:

#

The follower affected with the musician trait will not work, but instead make music, it is similar to the "Poet" trait. The player can ask the follower with this trait to play a song, and plus: if you play the drum circle minigame enough times, the follower with this trait has a chance to play the song you played on the drums (this trait is adult only)

Attention seeker is probably going to need some balancing. I figure tantrums might be kind of normal-ish for babies but less so for others? Maybe include actions for Disciples to interrupt a tantrum and stop it. I'm also pretty sure that the babies will not be able to break objects, unless they are old enough to leave the Nursery.

#

Come to think of it, Attention Seeker could probably apply for the adults too. Might lead to very dangerous stunts that could injure or even kill the adults, though could probably be removed like the Coward trait?

I haven't thought about being able to remove the trait yet

It's plausible. The dev team made it so you could remove the Jerk trait.

Attention Seeker would definitely need tweaking - that's a baby that will start throwing tantrums just because you go buy fish from the fisherman.
Social and antisocial in particular would not work with how the nurseries are set up to function right now. (you cannot transfer babies between nurseries without releasing them from their current nursery first).

Here's my proposal to rework the Attention Seeker trait. Attention Seeker babies are more likely chance to have a tantrum from 10% daily to 25% daily. Tantrums work similarly to Dissenters in that it will frustrate the other followers similar to preaching. To stop this, you can either Scold a baby for -5 faith or place them in a Timeout Chair for around 20 seconds. Do not leave a baby in a Timeout Chair overnight or it will count as neglect.

#

Giving in to Attention Seeker baby tantrums too frequently results in them keeping the trait when they grow up. Attention Seeker adults will actively interfere with other followers who are trying to do their work. They also may try to juggle bowling pins or knives. If they succeed, it may actually result in minor faith gain. If they fail, they will be injured or even killed in the process.

Negative Chocoholic trait: Keep feeding this follower chocolate daily and they are fine. Don't feed them chocolate and problems begin. Adorable baby requests become spoild brat antics. Adult followers refuse to work and run around interfereing with others while begging for chocolate. How do you get rid of this trait? Make sure they don't eat any chocolate for three days in a row.

Just don't let her find the chocolate
