ㅤㅤYes, today's crusade was in fact an unplanned one; brought about by a burning need for abstention. They still remembered it, of course— the discussion that ended quickly as it started, and the strange feeling of regret after leaving that felid unoccupied once more.

ㅤㅤ"You're overthinking this. . . Of course, gaining his complete favor wouldn't have been easy. You signed up for this the moment you decided to spare him, didn't you ?

I always liked the hair ties on the lamb it's so subtle yet unique to your art

And I'm glad you liked that detail! I believe I'm not the first to add front braids to their Lamb, but if I can let you on a lil secret, my Lamb takes after another existing oc I have 🤫

You could see it from her looks here that I borrowed a lot of visual elements from the off-shoulder cloak to the hairstyle

T, TECHNICALLY- the personality too, since the Lamb is a blank slate for anyone to mold; and I didn't want to start from scratch so I used her as a template in terms of personality

I guessssss in a way, my Lamb is kinda an AU of her? But they've evolved slightly to the point where they're more like what Gwen Poole is to Gwen Stacy if that makes sense, or to how Sonic Prime handles AUs

• Legally recognized foster family, all used to live in one house until a few years prior to the current timeline

• Shamura the eldest sibling, estimated 35 yrs old, is the founder of their own rapidly growing tech company. They used to be a super popular anonymous producer online but retired to pursue the challenge of technological innovations + support their siblings as the main breadwinner of the family

• Kallamar (30-ish) used to work at a private clinic as a doctor and supported the household, but has since parted from the household to watch over Heket

• Heket at her early twenties is currently touring the lands and is a well-renowned vocalist known for her deep and powerful growls and control (think Ado!); doesn't want to return home just yet in order to heal from the rift caused by a certain event

• Leshy is still a high schooler on his last year; one of those 'stupidly smart without studying' type of kids who has too much free time on his hands and uses it to indulge himself in art and weeb stuff HAHAHA he got gifted a drawing tablet by Kallamar for his birthday and has been obsessed in exploring the art medium

• Narinder finished college a few years back, but a certain event made him a social shut-in for a while, taking care of the house and being the only sibling Leshy loves to constantly annoy since Shamura often comes home late and barely has time to stay for the weekends; he has a great passion for music producing thanks to Shamura's influence growing up and has been using his spare time at home to hone his craft

• They all have social media accs Twitter Narinder and Leshy's mascots / pfps uses their crowns; Leshy is actually the artist for many of Narinder's album covers and music videos and is often seen bantering online on the TL even if they're literally in the same house most of the time 💀

This one is just self-indulgent and projecting but Narinder loathes the idea of socializing in order to collab with other online musicians so he forced himself to learn how to play the piano so that he could just use VSTs (virtual instruments ) instead to cover all other parts his songs would need BWAHAHAHA

A VERY GOOD QUESTION,,, because Lamb only sings Nari's songs (or covers others maybe!) and sometimes the songs Lamb likes listening to vs what they perform can be two different things HABFKDF

You might be onto something though,, at least in this Lamb's case, they have an often sweet and bright voice for pop and ballads, bUT that ends up helping Narinder's heavier type of music and lyrics in a tonal dissonance way i.e "do not be deceived by the devil's sweet words"

Me and My Strange Familiar:

• Lamb is a super senior (27 yrs. old and counting! 😭) and has been held back a year or two due to being naturally weak at magic. They currently work part-time as a teacher's assistant. The only reason why they're still here is because they're the adopted child of Ratau, the retired principal of the Institute of the Old Faith (I.O.F).

• That, and they're academically gifted than most students alongside being great at management, hence being asked to help professors frequently. The school has kept asking Lamb to just be part of the staff and give up studying, but they seem very motivated to continue their term until they are legible for graduating.

• The I.O.F's school board consist of the most powerful wizards who have graduated from the university. So far, the most recent chairman who have been welcomed has been Heket over 200+ years ago. Each board member has their own wands that act like their crowns from the original game, providing them a longer lifespan and even greater power.

• During Shamura's travels around the kingdom, they came across Leshy (20 yrs. old) who had no family to speak of. Noticing his untapped potential, they along with Heket and Kallamar, had since adopted him and have enrolled him into the I.O.F in hopes of ascending him to the currently vacant seat on the board.

• Leshy really likes bullying Lamb for their lack of magic, and they're kind of a doormat about it. Thankfully, Lamb's roommate, Casca (Yellow Cat, 22), sticks up for them and gets into a lot of bantering with him as a result.

• Narinder is... uh. Narinder is a piece of work alright. At least for the first half of the AU, he has to pretend to be a normal magical cat to Lamb, and a non-speaking one to Casca and the others. Comedy ensues. If he's going to be humiliated by doing cat stuff, might as well fulfill the asshole qualities of one.

The worldbuilding definitely takes the most inspiration from The Ones Who Walk Away From Omelas, where The One Who Waits (Samsara / Lamb) 's imprisonment allows all of its worshippers to never sleep or die- allowing them to work and party all day and night

No one ever rests! Why do you want to rest when there's so many things you can still do! And if you do run of things to do... haha- that can't be. You're in paradise, aren't you?

On the outskirts of the Land of Omelas though, that's where the non-believers live. They turn down immortality, and generally live without the blessings of the Saints so they have a harder time living, but at the very least they can enjoy their freedom

Hi here's my TOWWsona (pre-imprisonment) using half of an ancient screenname I had

Not really fond on her position as the Bishop of Death but someone has to do it 🤷 used to be a chipper kid when Shamura took her in, but she grew disillusioned with their grand plan for complete domination and how much suffering it caused to innocent civilians

Eventually after the Old Faith was instituted as the only religion left, she was upset how the rest of the siblings got to curry favor with boons they could give while she was left to do the undesirable role of becoming death himself. Deciding to go out with a bang, Cesque with the help of Shamura, unlocked the secrets to revival and managed to garner a shockingly great amount of worshippers for a few hundred years before being sealed away by her siblings.
