The Lamb ran, and ran. In vain. When they almost thought all was lost, the young god noticed a path, enlightened now with the lack of trees to cover. Turning their back to watch the threat behind them, they trotted on. For a fleeting moment, the death crowned vessel almost believed they were spared, alas. The road led nowhere. Their back turned a last time, they were met by the horrific sight of their opponent, whom they dared to underestimate. Two missteps back, and the world around them went dark : as they fell down a crater, hidden in the leaves. They thought their fall would be forever endless, until they finally collided with the cold and rough marble ground of a hidden temple. The ringing noise in their ears was almost as painful as the claw that tore the skin off their face. Through the pain they still lifted their head, in order to examine the place in which they landed.

Their walk felt like it lasted hours. That place was entirely deserted, and inconveniently large. They swore they’ve passed this same place over and over again, even the hole above their head, in which shun the last rays of the day, kept appearing, almost like it could move on its own. Stuck in this room, they gave up, sitting out of annoyance in the middle of the marble ground.

Now that they think of it, they did not examine this room as thoroughly as the rest of the temple, and fairly enough, it was a massive mistake on their behalf. They failed to notice the statue before them, that stood, bathed in the rays. Finally beating their sloth to examine the effigy, once behind it, they found a door, hidden in their shadows. A escape, perhaps?

..They were disappointed to find themselves in yet another room. But this one was different, as 4 neatly placed shrines were carefully placed in opposite directions.

On each of the memorials sat broken mirror shards.

Their glow felt out of this world.

Funfact, in the dimension of the first shard, Leshy is actually pretty jolly and outgoing. Of the 5 bishops, Leshy is the only who's not scared of this realm's lamb.

Seems he also likes to throw festivities!

In the first shard, Heket is actually much more hostile. Although forced to behave around the Lamb, whom she's scared of.

The reason she stood in the cult's campsite is one of the Lamb's followers, Tilly. Someone she swore she could recognize wandering in Anura before.

while Baphomet is the demon goat, his story takes place WAYYY in the future

Azazel promotes old ways, peace and logic, he also harbors alchemy
Baphomet promotes cannibalism, murder and other violent ways such as terrorizing and threatening his followers. Being that he was a vessel of his own Narinder, he was killed and revived, he did not handle the revival as well as the others did in the other shards

Also Baphomet is the FIRST to straight up kill Narinder at the first encounter

while Azazel is the first that accepted his sacrifice, however his Narinder ended up not doing so. Cooperating with the lamb and accepting peace with the other bishops

YEP. Right after accepting to become his vessel, the power source was too violent for Baphomet. He lost his mind and murdered Narinder out of cold blood, and became the god of death straight up

Which was a massive threat for Narinder's siblings

The Goat's realm is much different, being much more violent and hostile, yet The Goat adapted to it's ways and became who they are now

In Baphomet's realm, the 4 bishops are the "scapegoats"

In Azazel's, Narinder is his spouse and Azazel is his right-hand man, as the cult belongs to Narinder and not him

The 4 bishops are all in control of the cult and have made their capacities one, although Azazel made sure to instore peace. Making them quit their old ways basically!!

Azazel's realm is the only where there's no crusading

He's also the only who seems to ACTUALLY have proper crusading knowledge

Terra is violent and rushes head first,
Baphomet destroys everything in his path with little regard to what he does, whether he harms followers or not
Azazel does not crusade, but has went on crusades before and handled them. Usually never left the campsite without 2 followers, one for healing, the other for backup
The Goat is tactical and uses his opponents' weaknesses in crusades, but can't handle the idea of being helped out, but helps others out.
Lamb is tactical and has strategy, seeing all the ways out. Unfortunately can be stubborn and doesn't know when to back down

In Terra's realm, Ratau is actually a father figure for Terracotta. Also the only who knows what Terracotta became after becoming the god of death (he is aware of their 'form' shifting)

In The Goat's, Ratau is actually meant to slow him down. They tend to resent Ratau when brought up, “He's nothing but a annoying no-good do-er.”

In Azazel's realm, Ratau is actually a part of the 'court' instored and is known as "Narinder's first vessel", is praised for being so. The one that taught the Ram alchemy.

In Baphomet's realm, Ratau is the one that wishes to put a end to his madness. However he is too weak to do so, so he lives in fear Baphomet raids his home at any moment.
