You can use the lobotomy station to lobotomize a follower, adding or removing one trait. Costs 2 sin.

While i do agree that we definitely need something to change/remove/add traits, i am highly against a lobotomy station as someone who would’ve definitely been a victim of it if it had ever stayed legal- lobotomies are terrifying, not just morally corrupt, they absolutely wreck a person’s state of being, rendering those who even manage to survive in a state of incapability of feeling fear or other emotions, even a major loss in awareness to their surroundings, some lose their personalities or shift into a different one completely

If you were deemed insane for any arbitrary reason, like being gay for example (it’s definitely not the only ridiculous reason you could be lobotimized for) you would be lobotomized with or against your will (more often than not it was against one’s will)

Hell you could just be a strong headed woman and you would be deemed problematic and insane enough to go under this procedure, which you were awake while being subjected to the surgery

For many reasons, this should NOT be added into the game, what i can suggest other than this is perhaps a building where you can give therapy to one of your followers, chosing positive effects or negative ones that you judge is better suited for them such as the nocturnal trait for example which can benefit some players, therapy isn’t always good depending on who gives it or how it’s given, thus giving you the option to be kind or evil towards your followers

Most people who got lobotomies did not survive by the way, because they’re causing your brain to bleed to death by removing or cutting chunks out of it

I'm for it tbh but what if each time you 'lobotomize' a follower, they gain a new trait along with already removed/changed traits:

  • Aggression (they become more aggressive to other members and the lamb)
  • Sluggish (Work and Devotion speeds decrease by 20% (Can be stacked))
  • Lifeless (Follower becomes more tired more often / Can only stay awake for a day before taking a two day sleep)

I like the idea of a station that allows you to modify traits of an already existing followers, but the lobotomy stations seems a bit… dark

Getting rid of traits and adding new ones would be cool yeah, but lobotomy is too much imo

I think a better way to incorporate this would be through the Re-indoctrination option, where you have an option to reroll a followers traits. You can't choose what you get, so it's a random RNG-based chance at getting better or worse traits.

I'd make this cost a high amount of sin AND have a cooldown too.

That works too. I like the more luck-based idea though. Like how we already can't customize how our followers act.
