Hi, sorry for the title but I’ve noticed that family members can mate and I think that it’s really gross.
I think, pretty understandably in my opinion, that this is really really gross.

I really hope so cuz I made the mistake of not tracking who’s related to who and so I’m not sure if i accidentally mated relatives together 😭🤮

I used to only track my spouse's descendents early on (cuz even if not biologically, I still saw them as the Lamb's kids and grandkids via surrogacy or adoption)... And then one of said "grandkids" tried to ask the Lamb to marry them, and I got reaally uncomfortable at that. And then after some descendents had more than one kid and they stopped all being the same species I started struggling to keep track... So yeah.

It’s a cult, and it’s also a video game. This restriction would suck. An average play through is going to have 20-30 max members at a time. Which could easily be “3-4 families” which would make breeding worse than hiring new members.

Imo all the incest should be removed, breeding has a massive benefit which is that you can basically make a really good follower instead of having to search for a random follower to have it
Plus golden eggs are extremely good to have since that is 4 traits of your choosing
You just need two followers to have the good traits you want

We're looking into it, not sure atm with if it is possible as with a quick scan it could cause havoc with the entire follower system with how its set up backend. But it's on our list of things to look into at any rate!
