Kvarcus was born and raised in Anchordeep while his sister, Tyan, was born and raised in Silk Cradle under the same father and 2 different mothers.

He grew up with constant religious crown propaganda, both taught by his father and the Anchordeep choir of cultists who threatened to sacrifice anybody who didn't obey.
Growing up while worshipping Kallamar (albeit not an active follower of their cult), he was given the gift of an unnaturally healthy body and prolonged life.

While he did not personally believe in Kallamar's teachings, the Purple Crown and its domain over Silk Cradle fascinated him. The search for knowledge tempting him beyond his scope.
His father would not allow him to leave Kallamar's domain.
A draw of blood later, and Kvarcus found himself in Silk Cradle, searching for the purple crown and Shamura.

• his clothes are actually his father's kallamar cultist clothes
• his forehead mark can actually change color depending on who he's faithful to (it was actually gray when he was being taught about kallamar because he didn't believe in anything)

Fino was a sibling to 5 brothers and 1 sister. They were emotionally neglected by their parents and were the middle child of the family. Growing up in Silk Cradle doesn't make anybody's life easy.

Fino and their siblings were always raised to be naturally obedient. They were all raised under the belief that a boogeyman would catch them if they were to misbehave. A large purple spider that would snatch them up in the middle of the night and never return them.

They grew up to be incredibly charismatic and humble, opening a wandering store similar in style to Forneus's Caravan (although with much less customers because they actually charged for their wares). They were a successful trader all things considered; Silk Cradle is a small location and Forneus dreaded spending any time at the location.

Until their first family member went missing.
Without explanation, their brother had gone missing through the night. The entire family had woke to him gone.

It hadn't been a very long time until their sister went missing as well.
Their depression worsened as more of their family went missing without explanation. "Who could be doing this? Why would they do this? What's happening to my family?"

Such questions had infected their mind until they were claimed as well.

They had been claimed by Helob.

They awoke in Helob's webs. The first thing they saw before being rescued by a random Shamura cultist and indoctrinated into their cult, was ||the leftover remains of their brother on the floor.||
They had never cried so much in their lifetime.

like they're not just small little gremlin creature in my interp
