New Game Plus +

I've practically finished everything there is to CotL, probably one of the most amazing games I've played this year. I love the design and I loved the dungeon combat while also tending to my cult's needs.

This game has a lot but I was surprised when I noticed there wasn't an ability to go back and replay the game in a New Game Plus +. Many people have stated just create a new save, but I for one would love the ability to replay the game with all the decorations I've collected, tarot cards, gold, and maybe followers. The game has an interesting mechanic for choosing which doctrines to decide on, for a new player choosing the wrong one or choosing some that you might regret might leave a sour taste. New Game + fixes that in my opinion. The ability to go back, and choose doctrines you've never chosen before (like cannibal or murdering followers) gives players a chance to retry many different versions of their cult.

I would love for this to eventually get added or at least heard out

what would it consist of necessarily

redoing the game but you keep all your doctirnes fleeces &followers?

Honestly, I'm still thinking about that as it was just an idea that I thought of but mainly consisting of decorations and tarot cards the player has collected. I think what would make it more exciting is that when NG+ is activated enemies are much quicker and do way more damage then they previously did to give new players an extra challenge

Followers and Doctrine fleeces are tricky as you have to complete challenges just to get those items and they reward you heavily. I think fleeces make the most sense since you gain more fleeces once defeating the final boss of the game. Followers is still tricky to me since you lose the reward of the villains you've fought but I don't really know
