I don't wanna lock people out of a boss-fight. It should be a tough descision both ways. People will WANT a boss-fight. If there will be one, it should be basically after all their quests and very close to 100%, allowing you to revive any followers you sacrificed to them for free / any hearts you gave them, and a free revive for ratau if you sacrificed such to them.

For obvious reasons it’s pretty much just like the previous options though you can choose not to sacrifice a follower right now, and do it later, in case you don’t wanna sacrifice and of the followers rn because you like them too much.

By just like the previous options I mean that you can choose which route, ratau or followers and then the followers to sacrifice, if the follower route is chosen you can select as many as you want to sacrifice up to the total of 20, or none, any time you meet with the teeth in the darkness with the quest not finished.

okey then, if not a bossfight. how about a permanent way for followers to perish, and in return they could give us stuff. somewhat similar to how helob/mystic seller works.
depending on the quality of the follower it'd give different good things, giving the fox a 10+ follower would result in the fleece piece, and then the follower form.

Im not saying your suggests are bad, I'm saying they would be good as their own suggestion, since this one is specifically a alternate sacrifice to ratau.

I would say, your ideas would be cool for stuff after the main quests of the wolf, to make it a fun and rewarding thing to hunt down moon sigils still, doing first say the boss, tho I feel eh about perma sacrifice of followers. Tbh good idea, just change where it occurs to after the teeth in the darkness quests.

Yeah, if you don't play knucklebones with him before he get's sacrificed, you loose the easiest difficulty player for the mini-game but also the reward you would get for winning against him for the first time if you haven't won against him before that

You can only challenge the other 3 with their harder difficulties and make bets on them

They fixed that reward issue some time ago; there's an alternate way to get it if you sacrifice him before playing Knucklebones with him.
