Random Spam of "secret outfit discovered "popups mid combat

i was just doing purgatory and this happened twice.

call me a fashionista ig

i think it happens whenever i do an input because thats when it seems to be occuring. i went into the next room and it still pops up every now and them

but not every input

very strange

occurs even after going into a new area

now it looks more like its occuring whenever an environmental item or enemy takes damage?
if theres any ingame outfits unlocked by killing or destroying a certain amount of something then i think the game is confused by it, like im reaching the requirements, but the item cannot spawn in correctly due to me being in purgatory?
just a guess tho
