In the first room of the dungeons where you get your weapons and curse the only weapon spawning is the Warmakers Hammer, even when resummoning or going to a different dungeon.
I unlocked Anchordeep and then got a quest to search Anura for one of my followers’ friend and I am now unable to get any other weapon.
I was able to reproduce this bug on both PS5 and PC by unlocking Anchordeep and accepting the quest before ever stepping foot in Anchordeep.

I would only get hammers, whenever I resummoned the weapon I would get the exact same hammer but a lower level

Yes, the bug seems to occur when one unlocks Anchordeep and accepts the ‘find friend/family’ quest before ever entering Anchordeep

Have you also tried verifying game files?

Midrun weapons do not show up at all or are just the hammer with a different level, restarting the same only changes the type of hammer (warmaker to vampiric for example)
As I said above I'm not tech-savvy so I don't know how to verify game files on PS

idk how on ps, but on pc what you can do is open steam and right click COTL
then click "Installed files" and click "verify integrity...". this would repair any fucked up files, tho in your case im hoping it detects that slight change and maybe fix it, tho it is unlikely af

well no weapon in the game as anything close to the dps of a dagger except for the axe for certain enemies
daggers are just absolutely insane

depends, guantlets normally have far less dps but the exploit can make it higher than the axe
