This is as far as I got with the horrorification of your lamb, I had 2 different ideas coming from how they can split their face open? The first was what if there was a creepy ram skull underneath, and the second was “what if there was NOTHING immediately visible underneath/a dark void”

Hmm, i think it could look nice if that circle is just a very faint line so it doesn't stand out so much in contrast to the other elements.

You could also go with it being negative space: put shading behind the lamb and leave the circle out so its just barely visable. But those two options might fade away too quickly!

As it is right now i feel it's a bit crowded, yes

The version without it would be fine too, so i'd honeslty ask a tattoo artist for advice (if you're able to do that) maybe even the one you pick to do the tattoo! :>

I think it looks fine with both imo ^^ A lot of the tattoos I see have a lot going on, including other cult of the lamb based tattoos, and sometimes that’s the entire appeal, like tattoos that take up a large amount of space or even the whole arm/leg

I’d say it depends on the size of the tattoo, like if that were supposed to be a smaller or tiny tattoo, having both could make it pretty hard to read

If it’s more medium sized, I’d say it’s perfect, maybe get the ring behind lamb in a different color than black to help it stand out? If it’s a larger tattoo, I’d actually add more details like to the side of the ring like lil symbols or stars or those tiny crosses the game uses, whatever you feel like, and again that’s entirely just my own thoughts lol
