I recently saw a Narilamb fic that had "Narinder was abused by his siblings" in the tags

And I'm just like

"There aren't people who actually believe that, right?"

So I ask in the comments if they believe that

I check later, and realize my comment wasn't there

I thought "Ok, it was probably just a glitch. I'll ask again"

This time I wrote something along the lines of "I thought I left a comment here, but it seems to have disappeared? I was asking if you actually believed that Narinder was abused by his siblings"

I wait for a response

I check again, and my comment is gone again.

I think "Ok, what the hell is happening?" And I write another comment.

"This is the third time my comment has disappeared. It was about you thinking that the bishops abused Narinder"

I await a response

I check later, and find out that the author blocked me

I think "oh, this person clearly doesn't want me here, and I now know that they've been deleting my comments, so I'll just mute them"
