Silly scheming heretic that's named Mars Maginota

Only noticable physical traits would be the fact he's a male, his antlers, red eyes ||and wounds covered in bloodly bandages all across his right limb||. Color scheme stays the same like the one for deer follower (feel free to add red markings if you wish)
He tends to wear heretical robes with occasional rips in the material here and there, whilst wearing his skull necklace that he's willing to protect.

As for his personality, it's quite hard to put in short and simple terms, so I might've accidentally scuffed it, apologies. He's very paranoid of death, to the point of constantly searching and plotting for immortality, willing to make alliances and backstab anybody if it brings him closer to it. Some would say that he's got an 'game brain' or simply he's got some good tactical knowledge. For his more mischievous side, he tends to get sadistic and cruel, having even the most brutal sights no phasing him at all.
His other side is cowardly and weak, being paranoid and fearing death to the point of willingly pleading himself to anybody who's going to spare his life. (There's more to him, but that's if anybody's willing to read long things I wrote about him).

Obviously I'd draw his more mischievous and scheming side, but I can't do that yet, so I settled on the cowardly one.
Would be happy if his scheming side was drawn though.

(Sorry, I tried keeping it short)

(Oddly enough, astrology and mythology are his side hobbies for some reason. He got a pretty characteristic laugh which is simply 'Hehehe...')

Oh absolutely agree to what you say lizard! Forcing it to happen is just counter intuative it will come naturally with doing what feels right. I'd even go so far to say improvement is not even necesarry unless you want this as a career. ¯_(ツ)_/¯ You have a hobby no need for everything you do as enjoyment to be "marketable" / "perfect"

Because there is no one "right" way to improve - tho i get where you're comming from. I was pretty frustrated at the lack of an answer too. But maybe try around with different things. Maybe just fooling around will get you there, or maybe you're more of a tutorial type. Or a mix of both, feel around and see what works best for you personally. I know it's hard and frustrating sometimes and thats valid

Yeah, that does sound like the proportions are the issue here. What helps me (when i draw an eye shape i'm not that familliar with) is to sketch in the eyeballs first and put the shapes on top.

That way you can see if they feel right size wise first, before focusing on the shape and then on other things like lashes

So like guide > shape > eye style you want > detail
