This is for the DLC. Saying this as someone who eagerly anticipated making the Bishops into followers, I know this wasn't anticipated by everyone, or people may just want different options for different playthroughs, so I feel that players should be given the choice to indoctrinate them into their cult, or give them their final peace (after facing them for the second time). We were given this choice with Narinder after all.
#Spare or Kill the Bishops

i would always do spare but I did expect to be given this option.
(end game spoiler when you do get all the special characters indoctrinated) || ??? even says he doesn't care what happens to them ||
I know some people have been put off from playing or were disappointed in the DLC because of this.
People really are addicted to the undertale aspect of this game aren't rhey
Having those route appeal to a lot of different types of players. I think this especially because we are the leader.
I'm fine without the choice being implemented because we do have a choice of what to do with them after indoctrinating them.
no, i don't think it would work for the story
Also that too
The gods would be very angry if you killed them. Also, killing them again makes the cycle start again
that makes sense to me
I didn't expect people to be so allergic to the concept of letting people choose lol
"it wouldn't work for the story"
yes it would lol
you're playing a god of death at this point
they can decide to indocrinate the bishops or send them on their way
nah mate
some people just don't like the Bishops
so now they gotta choose between not playing the game they (used) to like, or welcoming characters into their cult that they want nothing to do with
they have to take them otherwise the gods wouldnt be happy
thouugh you could technically kill them at camp
what gods?
okay but that's not what they say and that's not why they're angry
the Bishops are stuck in limbo which is why they're angry
and they specifically say to "move them on" and to "give them peace"
they do not tell us that it can only be done by bringing the Bishops into our cult
Oh I thought you meant being able to spare them when you first fight them
Yeah being able to perma kill them the second time makes sense
ooh I understand the confusion
I should've specified this was about the dlc lol
or made it more clear
actually I can still edit the comment so I will edit for clarity
I agree with this suggestion
