Hirohito lives in the future version of the Homeplane, idk if I've ever explained what that is but basically Earth but better bc I made it. In the future there is a severe lack of magic due to everyone building all over the damn greenery. As punishment, the goddess who rules the Homeplane restricted magic to random people, each born with a random amount of abilities and power. This lead to a sort of superhero/villain thing.. and the world being futuristic means publicity and shit!!! Hirohito is besties with a set of twins named Vex and Ven, famous for being heros AND the descendents of the old heroes, Danni and Hendrix.

Vex and Ven are identical and are both born without the ability to speak, instead using a voice bank attached to a collar they both wear, this fact is important later. Hirohito despite having powers of his own never used them to become a hero, he didn't want publicity and he didn't want to cater to fans in that way, what he loved was working at his mom's ramen shop, coding, and making music. When Vex disappear, he takes it upon himself to go find him, seeing as he's one of his closest friends and probably the most capable bc he has his powers to back him up. He gets an epic suit to disguise himself and heads off to beat the shit out of Vex's top enemies, which happen to be the cities biggest and baddest villains.

As he plows through them looking for Vex, they all don't have anything to do with his disappearance. Ven tries to help, giving Hirohito information on where to go and who to speak to. Eventually Hirohito goes to Ethel, one of the most notorious villains for killing her husband and 55 other people in less than 5 seconds ( she can stop time and summon weapons from any point in the world.. a lot of military storage facilities get accidentally robbed by her power...) When Hirohito challenges Ethel she's tells Hirohito he's being tricked, that Ven is not actually Ven, but instead Vex. Since they're identical and have basically the same voice, it's impossible to tell who's who... Unless you're Lenliyoru, who works for Ethel.

Lenliyoru used to be a part of a literal think tank connected to a giant super computer powered by her and other geniuses brains and the Laei-Network. Vex had been absorbing power from the Laei-Network, which has some of the last residual magic within it.. she knows it's Vex because she was connected to the Laei-Network and could actively see anyone using it for any reason whatsoever. She was discharged from the tank bc she served her time, it's very isolating, she barely spoke to anyone because only authorized personnel were allowed down there. She was eventually scooped up by Ethel and became her official information lady :3

Hirohito is like " bro wtf why is Vex absorbing power from the Laei-Network????" And the answer is because he wants to take over the world because he felt like between him and his sister, Ven, he was less popular and that he deserved more attention than her. Ethel explains that he's planning on launching his attack soon, which utilizes negative impressions stored within the Laei-Network, things like war, famine and all that jazz. BUT to combat that, the Laei-Network also stores good impressions. These impressions have names, A.R.L.I and E.R.L.I, Angelic residual Laei-Network Impressions and Elegiac Residual Laei-Network Impressions.

Basically fight ensues and Hirohito kills Vex blah blah blah blah, Danni and company appear as A.R.L.I's and so do a lot of pervious monsters they murdered back in their days of corruption hunting. The end.

Her name is Brutus and she was originally a failed attempt at making a clone of Danni. She was to be euthanized until a different company showed up and was like "we want that" and took her. She's about 22-ish, still haven't settled on an age but she's in her 20's. Brutus was one of many test subjects in a lab, they were being used to test out a special serum that would grant the drinker permanent powers.. naturally the serums being in beta testing did horrifying things to the subjects... Brutus was artificially given the power of telepathy at the cost of her own health. Her blood evaporates through her body and crystalizes once in contact with large amounts of oxygen, aka outside of her body. She often uses the crystalized shards as weapons.

She and the other test subjects were rescued eventually and only a few have been rehabilitated enough to rejoin society. Brutus is somewhat free, although she is cared for by a government agency which covers her hospital bills and whatnot.
