I was doing the snail offering in the lonely shack for the last fox mission - I used the snail and the eyes started glowing but it didn't activate the next park of the quest and the shrine is still highlighted when I go past but I can't interact with it
Has this just fucked it up for the quests for me? I can't complete the final part of the talisman otherwise

The snail statues and the Fox's questline don't have anything to do with each other.

Do they not? You offer the snails to the statues so the fox appears to give you the quest right? I've been doing that so far
Either way I can't reach the final part of his quest
I've done the quest in Midas already plus I've already beaten The One who waits, is there just something I'm missing?

The snails are their own quest; you give a shell to each of five statues and in return you get the snail Follower form.
For the Fox, you need to interact with the green crescent shape on the ground of Pilgrim's Passage, Mushroom Grotto, Smuggler's Sanctuary, and Midas's Cave at night.

That's why I thought it was a bug about the fox, the outline of the statue in the shack hasn't faded despite it being lit up but I can't interact with it
So I thought it was to do with the fox because coincidentally I just got the fox to appear previously after doing the statues 😂

It was to do with gaining a heart that day based on a meal you eat (3 star meal) and a specific cape ☺️
