Hey its ok to feel that way! It happens to all of us and many think that while they're ocs are not getting traction like other artists I can assure that our/your characters are held deep and lovingly by someone, maybe they don't express it as much as they wish they could but there are people who love ocs ^^
To get a certain famous oc like Ram and Rad takes time, no one makes a "life changing" character in a day, week or even a month, it just needs to vibe with the right audience ^^

I'm not very good at comforting but I at least hope this helps some what ^^' 🫂

I can only assume it’s because they draw that oc more common compared to other characters so it’s a trope that pops up frequently, along with the fact they talk about them often, it’s fine to be a little upset. I’m gonna be honest and say I think about my friends oc’s a lot, along with yours, being Yoruba cuz I still mess with the bot on c.ai lol.
