Soon after organizing his new cult, Lambert realizes the Red Crown is slowly corrupting him as a strange fury and thirst for power begin to take hold of him. His only hope to free himself of the Crown’s influence is to return it to The One Who Waits.
Will Lambert be able to stay true to himself as he completes his mission to free his master, or will he let himself fall into the darkness and be consumed by the corruption entirely?

Using the events, game mechanics, and gameplay of the game, the fanfic will follow Lambert over the course of the game as it explores the corruption’s influences on his character, actions, and relationships as well as his attempts to stay true to himself.
The story is still a fair ways away from being released, but if you have any questions, suggestions, or comments, feel free to put them in this thread—I may also occasionally post an update on the progress of the story or ask for your input on something here.
