I definitely recommend getting a screenless tablet if you have a tendency to get too close to the screen, sure it takes some getting used to but it’ll def save your eyeballs from getting burnt up and injured, currently trying to save up to get a screenless tablet since i value my eyeballs more than having a screen tablet, hand eye cordination will come eventually

Also the tools don’t make the artist but they can facilitate work

The way I draw hands are a bit weird but one thing I know people tend to do is build up a hand using a flat box for the palm and working with that shape to help figure out where the fingers go! I'm really tired and can't draw a visual representation but there's one way! Another that can definitely help is taking a photo of your hands in those poses or finding ones online if they fit what you're looking for!

I second that. You as a regular person have two posable hands you can use as reference for any hand you want.

The last phrase is what I was partially meaning that it can help push your art! But is definitely not something that someone who might be hesitant to it might want. I know in the past a lot of people pushed that idea onto me when I had no money so I always wanna let peeps know that getting stuff that will break the bank will not make you a better artist! Ah. Wacom. Yeah those make the premium options. With the One being an entry tier screenless tablet. A local store here has it for 200 buckaroonies or so. There could've been some chinese alternate brands you could've tried as well, but I am not going into hardware wars nonsense here. I am hoping you get lots of use out of your purchase.
