Since I haven't talked about these ladies in a while I'll explain the Lore™

Maria is a late 30's something Honduran white bat, the leader of a militia and the wife of 3 women (including the woman next to her)
She opposes the Old Faith for its genocides and sacrifices, and one day dreams of a world liberated from their control

She cut out her own eye when she was younger due to religious brainwashing that told her to be ashamed of her lesbianism, but has since recovered and vows to never let anyone go through that kind of shame

On the outside, she can be quite demanding and stubborn, but it all comes from a place of wanting the best for others. She's honest, brave, and above all else; sticks true to her values, even to the very end.

Turua is the sleepy housewife of Maria, the latest member of the polycule, and by far the most mysterious. Not even Maria or the other wives know much about her past, apart from the fact that she was at one point homeless and was taken in by them

Turua was one of three gods who made life in this universe. She created all marine life via glassblowing, and even made her own weapon from glass. At one point, she renounced being a God because of her mounting depression. Turua was never happy with herself; she thought that she was weak and incompetent, so she tried to become incredibly masculine with huge muscles and a quick temper. With the free time she got as a mortal, she realized she was not a man. As one last request from the Mystic Seller, she asked that all mentions of her dead name would be redacted from history and forgotten by the scholars who remember.

While Turua feels much better in her own body, she in no way solved her severe depression. Turua was too depressed to even work, and eventually settled to becoming a wanderer and a beggar, until she was taken in and subsequently fell in love with Maria and her wives.

They're nothing more than shambling corpses

He even lost several limbs, but he had them replaced with the body parts of his family

The only reason he was saved was because he happened to be a famous fiction writer whom Shamura enjoyed the work of, and was given a cushy home inside Shamura's temple along with their other writers

Pazuzu does not sit idly by, however. He hates the Old Faith and everything they stand for. While he used his real name for his fiction, he goes under a penname to spread the truth of the old faith to heretics
