Midas lore hc: Midas was born in an extremely impoverished and dangerous area of Anchordeep. He was constantly fighting for scraps with those around him, living in caves with nothing of his own. Midas, being a tiny little guy, was constantly beat for food and was barely surviving. He began eating the corpses of those who had passed because he could not fight the others for food.
At the time of Narinder's imprisonment, he left lots of god blood behind. Midas happened to stumble upon some of that blood and drank it, gaining immortality and the ability to turn people to gold, as well as pick up gold n shit with his mind like how he places his statues around the room y'know.
Anyways, with this newfound power, he went on kind of a murder spree lol, mainly to this big pirate ship that had a bunch of gold that he stole... Anywayz he left with his new fortunes and set up his little cave, learning how to become a merchant and uhh yeah ⊂⁠(⁠(⁠・⁠▽⁠・⁠)⁠)⁠⊃
