Out of the two, I really think I got French more cuz of where I am, grew up with a lot of older people either literally speaking or at least throwing in lil phrases of Cajun French. It was similar enough where my brain was taking in that one better, that and me in the younger grade dud learn about certain meaning like some colors, numbers 1-10 and how to say "my name is ___"

Tho now I'm told it's basically a dead or dying language now-
