OK SO BASICALLY

Everyone lives in a large cave called the Meat Hollow (You'll see why in a second). Society here is pretty normal, besides the fact that the further down the cave you go, the more... Biological it becomes. You'll see veins in the rocks, the walls will beat occasionally like a heart, giant organs suspended in the air by vines, etc. People just accept this as normal. Anyways, this society has 2 leaders; "Heart" and "Brain". Those are both aliases, as Heart and Brain have never revealed their identies, not even their appearances. Brain uses a puppet to communicate, and Heart uses an animated character on a screen.

People don't really treat them as leaders, more like celebrities.

One day, Heart snd Brain suddenly announce a competition. You need 3 teammates to participate, and the goal sounds simple enough: Find Heart and Brain, wherever they're hiding. The reward is you get to join them. Now, EVERYONE in Meat Hollow wants to join. Who wouldn't want to join the prestigious Heart and Brain?!

This includes Cadaver, who also uses it as an excuse to get off work. Being a miner isn't easy. Unfortunately, Cadaver has no friends so he can't enter with anybody. So, he finds the only other person without someone; Jacaranda. They still need one more, so Cadaver fishes a limbless torso out of a dumpster and enters. (All they had to do was prove the torso is alive, it twitched so that counts).

The 2 people reading this may be asking themselves.... "Why do heart and brain suddenly want more members?!" Its because they're in a polyamorous relationship and are getting bored of just the two of them LMAOOO. thats why they immediately disqualified kids and also people they don't like.

How civil is she? Like, suppose Hathor comes across someone who isn't interested in heart-giving, but they perhaps are kindly and would help her with something else, like... Finding a missing belonging, or delivering a message, or making a purchase... Things like that.

If their heart is enticing enough she'll take it by force, but if she's already full or their heart is of no interest, she could probably strike up a deal with them

Hathor, when she wants to be, is charming and charismatic. Usually she puts on different fronts depending on what the person she's hunting likes (For example, Ratoo deeply wanted to settle down and have a family, so she posed as a calm and caring woman with the same interests)
