I recommend doing outbreaks (the icons of Pokémon on the map with the red underneath)
Once you defeat 60 the shiny odds are around 1/1300 without shiny charm and sandwiches but can go down to around 1/500 with them
And considering how many you can see at once, those are crazy odds
Once you defeat enough you can just set up and leave the picnic over and over to despawn and spawn more, as long as you don’t defeat more the outbreak will keep going and spawn new Pokémon

Masuda Method Dittos are extremely useful for breeding shinies. Having 2 Pokemon from different languages (ENG, JPN, CHN, ect) breed together massively increases shiny rates of eggs (Normal rate is 1/~4000, but Masuda breeding increases this to 1/683 without Shiny Charm and 1/512 with it). Ditto can breed with nearly any Pokemon, making it the easiest mon to use for this.
The code for trading your Ditto for a foreign Ditto is 4448-4448.
People are also using the Dex numbers of starters to trade for them. Someone wanting to trade a Sprigatito for a Quaxley (or vice versa) would use the code 0001-0007. Sprigatito/Fuecoco trades would be 0001-0004, and Fuecoco/Quaxley would be 0004-0007.

i love my current team but i feel like i should remove a few pokemon on it
i removed clutterfunk (cyclizar) so i could add Nhelv (Gallade) who will probably eventually get replaced by a shiny iron valiant named Firework
also thinking of replacing silhouette because his type overlaps with my miraidon, HexagonForce ||(and also because i don't like ampharos as much as other pokemoN-)||
and also i might replace Molten Core (houndoom)??? because type overlaps with both clubstep (meowscarada) and acheron (pyroar)
plus i don't use her much
acheron is better for fire attacks and clubstep easily takes care of pokemon weak to dark with STAB night slash
and even with the good tera typing of fairy clubstep can take down pokemon weak to fairy like dragon-types with play rough
