my entire save file got corrupted like everything's gone

I just saw that there was an update and I was about to give it a spin. So I opened my game gave the blood moon ritual a try and after I collected 2 different spirits it just crashed and corrupted everything and I can't even start over because the ui doesn't move or make any noise

Probably nothing to do but start a new save file, is your console time set right also? There just seems to be an issue with PS4 in general and corruption though.

Yeah that's the other problem it won't let me continue to make a new one like the options are there but I can't select anything

Can you manually erase all save data from the console settings?

I would just delete the save data from the system instead.

I assume ps4 has an erase data option in the settings.
