I cannot start playing Cult of the Lamb 'cause it's completely bugged... (1 of 2)

So I just bought and downloaded Cult of the Lamb but the first bug I experienced was a blackscreen just after the crown scene, where the lamb recieves the crown.

I quickly found a bugfix and this part worked from then..

But a few minutes later I experienced another Bug:
I cannot break any wood or stone in my base just after completing the first run.
My quest is to harvest some wood and stone to build the cooking pot but I cannot break anything. There is no circle and just nothing happens if I try to break a tree, harvest some berries or break a stone.

Does anyone have a fix for that?

Just verify your game files or reinstall if that doesn't work, should fix it right away

your save is fine, you can just save and exit

I did reinstall but nothing changed

i've honestly had people tell me it took multiple, you could try the verify game file option too

might solve it/be easier than reinstalling

it is just a bad install issue though unfortunately so that's the only way to fix it, the worst i've heard is one guy took 5 reinstalls to get it to work properly

Ouf okay xD It's just annoying 'cause you have to play the whole first run 'til you know if it's fixed or not.. xD

you should be able to save in the cult area

once you are there, just hit pause and hit save

hit the tab button on keyboard

wait that's not it on keyboard

whatever the pause button is, i play on controller

hopefully that will help you avoid a full intro run again lol

dw it will work eventually, sorry about the issue though. it has been happening to a lot of players and the devs are aware of it happening

Or is that something else and I have to do the workaround?

yeah it definitely can be fixed if the install is working correctly. the blackscreen issue and the not chopping issue are always coupled together lately because they're both signs of a bad install basically
