for ritual freezes, sometimes this is caused by a bishop curse via sickness. could be caused by a variety of things too that can't be solved, sometimes you can solve it by trying to figure out which follower is glitched and doing a res ritual on them because the game will essentially delete the follower if they can't res properly during a ritual freeze

Ikr. Imagine you using a word processor to type something up. It won't let you use the X key, it limits the amount of letters a word can have unless you do a workaround, you type and suddenly it's just gibberish and have to restart, and there are times it won't let you go to the next page to type and you have to delete your last page to get it to fixed, only for it to happen randomly here and there. Is that a useable piece of software?

I can understand them focusing on the largest user base and working their way down, but they should do that with each patch. Get the patch working on pc, step down to get that patch working on the next one, etc. Keep a worker on each level if possible to roll out fixes and pass that knowledge along. But dont have best programer workin pc, 2nd best on playstation, the intern on switch, and then the intern's younger brother who is taking a python class tryin to do xbox

This may be a late response, but for the person who said not to blindly purchase a game, I would like to add, that I watched a streamer play this game several times on stream. Albeit, they were playing on PC. Watching their playthrough on stream and seeing them have no issues over the several hours and days that they played this game, it gave me a sense of "Ok, well this game looks to be pretty good and have no bugs. Great!" Then after buying it and playing through some pretty harsh bugs, to then find the discord and realize that this game was slap full of problems was disheartening

There's a reason im in the banish pit. I have been trying to rally people together for answers. Information, good or bad, is helpful in understanding. A rejected patch being reworked is better than 2 or 3 more days of "soon" followed by a long silence and a "snag"

So in terms of what I've experienced so far: there seem to be a lot of hang ups, particularly around fervor. When there is a lot of fervor in a room, gathered or not, it seems to be causing significant slowdown on XSX, cutting the framerate into the teens at points. I had the one incident with the game being stuck trying to load in the follower indoctrination (see above) but after I shut down the console and restarted the game I have not seen that issue again.

The slow downs are making runs through the dungeon quite difficult, and I have had multiple incidents of taking damage after the enemy dies

It's nothing completely game breaking, but it has impacted the experience quite negatively

For the fervour one maybe you could use the demom that automatic collects fervour, maybe it could help

and just dont use the double ferver cards because thats the only reason for frame drops in my experiance

if you have a levelled up follower that picks up fervour it also gives you extra on top of that meaning the double fervour drops card because almost absolete

#

plus there are better fervour cards like the one that also gives you full fervour when entering a fresh combat room

just saying ther fervour collector and extra soul hearts followers are the best 2 in the game hands down, they are extreamly usefull and make playing on the hardest dificulty a cake walk XD

not that it was all too hard to begin with like oh no ive lost a couple hearts oh well just dont get hit lol XD

i tried another run in the hope to get the last tarrot card, (read somewhere that if you dont get it its bugged and a new save could help), unfortunately its also bugged on this new save file (xbox) so heres to waiting some more!
