It's been pretty good so far, it's definitely a little overwhelming at the start.
My first thing was like where the hell are the if & else statement but you can definitely get away with a lot without being a "good" programmer

Unity is really good! Can be a bit overwhelming at first, but once you know where things are it gets a lot easier. If you don't have much programming experience tutorials, stackoverflow and Unity Answers are your friends!

There are a lot of tutorials done by Unity directly, on their site. Just take it slow and let things sink in.

It's still more 3D but they are adding a lot of 2D stuff in the current version.

We actually use openfl, haxe but have a compiler that takes it all into unity haha
