when I close the game it doesn't progress in stages

It used to be active like if I sleep for the night and wake up the next day I would increase maybe 400 stages now it doesn't even though I am not stuck .my heroes can kill the enemies but when I close it's like they freeze.idk what to do

You probably hit an max inactive stage and you need to actively progress past it

Also it cannot get you past your max inactive stage.

Silent March can only go so far

Your better off progressing on your own.

It is literally impossible to push past your max stage while the game is closed
