Invest in shadownya. Her with ahma and k-911 works really well. Cherub is much better on defense because this AI is smart. And also I wouldn't recommend k-9 over Uriel when with serp

That's fairly easy because they are R4 from corrupted and blossom eras.
You have a great support/attacker and chutulhu is from galactic era, there's no way to stop it

Why is volcanyx galvanus and cthulhu such a popular defense team? 4 of the top 5 players are using it, so it can't just be a coincidence, right?

My best guess is that it relies almost entirely on tortures for damage output, and cthulhu and galv are just there to help enable that

I feel like it's got to be deeper than that though

it has everything you need

per, ner, anticipation, CDA, tortures (with guaranteed toxins), plus dodge area and evasion making the attacker harder to take out

galv also puts on a positive effect block, or negative effect protection, one of the two, which makes it harder for you to recover

then slap L14 runes on it and you have no chance

oh and all 3 can hold shadowyna essence, so they get an extra life and deal 3 lots of damage to you (plus bleed) when you die, countering your own shadowyna essences
