first of all, if we're building 5 habitats, if we used the multiple workers on one, we would need to come online more times, but the time needed would be same.
If we're building stuff with different time each then... The total time ( for one worker each building) would be the time for building the building that takes longest
But if we use the multiple workers on one, then it's like a+b+c+d+e/5 which would be their average time, which is lower than the time for building the max one. I agree that the problem is we have to come online multiple times and start the building of each building, but there's no reason for this option not to be there
