it's a case-by-case basis yes but the baseline guidance remains imo

If something is only useful early game then it isn't worth investing too much in, especially given early game is easy to get past when given appropriate knowledge. Boosts aren't a necessary construction (they are Boosts after all). the game is a game of patience. I can see the argument for 4 builders in this but certainly not 6, when other upgrades like Hatchery and Breeding Tree exist. You also have events that require gems like Race (at 10+ laps), Tales. You want to be able to use what you have
