Ok then. Simple enough in theory. But first of all, not all monsters are well-suited to take on the bosses from adventure mode. Second of all, it takes forever to even get enough food and gold to level up the monsters and temples

You also need exp to further upgrade the temples

Some bosses in campaign are meant for maxed out mons to 3 star, but you don't really need to 3 star every stage, as there's no achievement past 350 stars. Bosses are a pp measurement, stages in between just require properly levelled monsters.

Also, campaign provides you with food and gold for your temples and monsters, like, alot.
