If you decide to do challenges like growth spurt or gold fever, it will require most of your resources since you didn't take time to build up your gold production before rushing adventure map and leveling up (the amount of resources required to get 20 gems from these challenges increase the higher your level). So it's either suffer being broke or miss out on easy 20 gems per week
