Every 4 hours, collect food and gold, breed and hatch Thunder Eagles, feed monsters, and win a pvp battle. Do not do those things during the 4 hour intervals. After the 4 hours pass, you should get 30 coins from collecting gold, 50 coins from collecting food, 50 coins from breeding Thunder Eagles, 50 coins from hatching Thunder Eagles, 30 coins from feeding your monsters, and 15 coins from doing pvp.

This is what worked for me. You can try this, and hopefully it works for you too.
