Don't rush adventure map cause the higher the level, the harder the tasks are such as daily tasks and gold rush & growth spurt. Adventure map gives way too much exp so if you can't keep up with producing gold for the tasks, you lose out on a bunch of gems. One could argue that adventure map gives a lot of gold too but you will run out in a month or two
