Breeding has no importance except for it being the time limited lineage, if not, only for the mythics for era saga. It's better to go for hatching and crafting mythics from storage or labs and start filling books for lvl 9 or 10 runes

Go for the hatchery instead

And prioritise caves for tickets to get ancestors

To be honest, the game is totally gem dependent. If you've got no gems, the marathon will be hard for you, tales will be hard for you, caves and getting ancestors will be hard for you, for now, I've spent more gems on bh compared to what I got
