If you are referring to race tasks….thundernix is the cheapest winged to rank at 1 gem. Some tasks specifically require ranking an UC winged, then terrordactyl is the cheapest at 2 gems. For the rare dark hatch tasks, a lot of players will breed dark+thunder to get shanky because any fails produce terrordactyl which is useful to stock anyway for those UC winged ranks. If prepped ahead of time, rhodent can be crafted for only 1 gem and makes a great dark hatch without the need to breed at all

You only need fifty, if you didn't spend the ones you get at the start you shouldn't need too many more

But trust me, Ive done that exact thing ALOT, and I know how slow progression is without a bunch of high class units

Honestly, grind Monsterwood, it's annoying and a little lengthy, but after about 5 vids you can spin for gems, 100-50-10

Just don't use the automatic spin, me personally, it goes out of it's way to make sure you don't get anything good

Assuming you have it unlocked, I forget when it becomes available

And I've been playing off and on for six years now, and always miss the major updates, best example being the new "card" system, but I understand that now at least by just playing

Ok so take requires to collect items from doing certain things like collecting gold, feeding monsters, pvp matches, breeding and hatching eggs. If you look closely you’ll see little blue boxes in the tales screen. That will let you know you collect more of those items cuz for example. When you collect gold. You can only get 6 of items at a time. Those blues boxes will tell you how much you can get at a time.

Hatching and breeding however takes like 8 or more hours to get that item again. So this is where SP gets greedy and wants us to spend gems to speed up the process

Yes paying attention to those blue boxes are very important. Cuz once you collect the item form gold. The blue boxes will turn black. And you’ll notice one box comes in at a time. Meaning you can 1 item,2 etc.
